Experience:
Since 1984, Market Insight has delivered research-driven market strategies to
regional and national clients. Kathy’s determined focus on quality starts
with helping clients to target their informational needs and extends through
the presentation of accurate, objective findings and actionable strategies that
give her clients the competitive advantage. Prior to forming Market Insight she
held key management positions with two of the nation’s top ten research
firms: Decision Center, Inc., New York and TNS-NFO Research, Inc., Toledo, Ohio,
where she led teams of researchers and managed large-scale projects. Her background
is in communications and psychology, and she has conducted strategic planning
sessions for business and civic leaders. Kathy has her B.A. in English from the
University of Illinois.
Current Projects:
Using qualitative and quantitative research methods, Kathy identifies customers’ needs
and their satisfaction with the client’s product/service. Clients are public,
private, and not-for-profit organizations, including an international pharmaceutical
consulting firm for whom she will conduct in-depth interviews with CEOs and medical
directors of the country’s largest 100 healthcare facilities. Her client
base includes an out-of-state utility company, a national manufacturer, a regional
bank, county government, colleges, and not-for-profit organizations.
Insights into Kathy:
Kathy works with businesses and organizations in setting strategic direction,
and has helped develop congruent mission statements. Her own is simple and straight
forward: “good work for good people.” When not working, Kathy appreciates
time with her nieces and nephew who all enjoy lots of beach time in sunny Florida.
